General terms and conditions

Thank you for your interest in staying at our campsite. The following general terms and conditions apply for all bookings on Camping Lazy Rancho 4, 3800 Unterseen-Interlaken. With the booking of a rented accommodation or a pitch the customer agrees to all the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking

The booking inquiry for your stay can be made online via our website. Your inquiry will be processed within two working days. Your booking inquiry for a pitch is not definite until you have received the confirmation that secures availability and the total payment has been received by Camping Lazy Rancho 4.

Your booking inquiry for a rented accommodation is not definite until you have received the confirmation that secures availability and the total payment has been received by Camping Lazy Rancho 4.
If we do not receive the payment within 4 working days after your booking inquiry, the management will be entitled to reallocate the pitch or the rented accommodation. After payment has been received the booking confirmation will be sent out by email. Payment with credit cards: the booking confirmation will be sent out immediately after the successful transaction.

1.1 Adolescents booking

Adolescents between 16 and 18 years of age will be obligated to exhibit a written permission by their legal guardian directly upon arrival or check-in will not be legally possible. In case of absence of such a written permission the management is not legally bound to the booking contract and will be entitled to reallocate the pitch or the rented accommodation without compensation.

2. Online Booking

When booking a pitch or a rental accommodation via our website the payment of the full amount is due immediately. Your credit card will be charged at the time the reservation is made.

3. Booking Fee

You will not be charged any booking fees.

4. Pitch request

Pitch requests are taken into account but the management reserves the right to change the number of the pitch at any time. A replacement pitch of the same value will be assigned. A pitch allocation does not provide the right to a reduction or a refund.

5. Minimum Stay

6. Arrival / Departure – Final invoice

The pitch reservation will be kept until 18:00/6pm. Check-out for camping: 11:00/11am

7. Original booking confirmation

At arrival the original booking confirmation has to be presented.

8. Final invoice

The customer is obliged to request and pay the final invoice the night before departure.

9. Late arrival/ early arrival or No show

In case of late arrival (after 18:00 h /6pm) of the day of your booking (without notifying the management by phone), the booking is considered cancelled. In this case the paid amount will not be refunded.

In case of an early departure the total amount for the total duration of your booked stay is to be paid.

10. Tourist tax

No reductions on any tourist taxes.

11. Booking for group and schools

Groups (of 15 people and more) can contact management via email to get a group offer.

12. Cancellation

In case of a cancellation of your booking, management has to be notified directly via email.
In the event of cancellation following fees will apply:

Camping pitches:
Until 60 days before arrival: CHF 30.--
59 – 31 days before arrival: 50 % of the booked arrangements
30 – 14 days before arrival: 75 % of the booked arrangements
Less than 13 days before arrival: 100% of the booked arrangements

Rental accommodations:
Until 71 days before arrival: CHF 30.--
70 - 60 days before arrival: 50 % of the booked arrangements
59 - 31 days before arrival: 75 % of the booked arrangements
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the booked arrangements

13. Pets

Pets are allowed, a maximum of two per pitch.

In the rental accommodations a surcharge applies. The owners are required to look after their pets and have to make sure said animals do not harass other customers (incl. soiling the surroundings and facilities).

Pets are not allowed in the facilities and have to be accompanied at all times. Dogs are required to be kept on a leash. Exception: Guide dogs are allowed.

14. Camping rules

It is our aim to enable all our guests to have a pleasant and relaxing holiday at Camping Lazy Rancho and therefore have camping regulations. Every guest will receive the camping rules upon arrival/check-in.

15. Data protection

With your booking Camping Lazy Rancho is entitled to use your personal data as part of its business service (administrative processing, statistical evaluation and marketing).

16. Place of jurisdiction is Thun, Switzerland

17. Validity

These conditions apply as from the 1st of April 2017
